                             Trancewaves Vol 2.
                          Produced by Paul Osborn.

My objective in the creation of these Performances was to persuade
the Wavestation's oscillators to sound as "analogue" as possible
within the limits of the Wavestation's basic structure. I employed
the hard-sync parameter on most of the patches to introduce a
subtle movement to the sustained portion of a given wave, producing
a warmer timbre from otherwise static wavesamples.

Another objective was to create a bank of sounds which complimented
Volume 1 of this collection which consist mostly of waveseq loops.

The Performances for this collection are as follows:

  Ram 1: 0 WOW BASS: use of velocity-switching, producing a TB303-like
  character.

Ram 1: 1 VEL-REZ BASS: as above with slightly more sync effect.

Ram 1: 2 PULSE BASS: a very convincing PWM effect using velocity.

Ram 1: 3 SYNC BASS: as the name suggests.

Ram 1: 4 SAW BASS: sync creates a nice subtle analog flavour.

Ram 1: 5 SQUARE BASS: as the name suggests.

Ram 1: 6 SUB BASS: ditto.

Ram 1: 7 WOW BASS 2: variation of WOW BASS.

Ram 1: 8 TALKING BASS: VEL-REZ BASS layered with WOW BASS producing
  vowel-type formants.

Ram 1: 9 REZ LEAD: a very analog sounding mono lead.

Ram 1:10 REZ LEAD 2: variation of above.

Ram 1:11 REZ LEAD 3: ditto.

  Ram 1:12 REZ/SYNC: ditto.

  Ram 1:13 REZ/SYNC 2: ditto.

Ram 1:14 SAW LEAD: saw waves with lots of detune.

Ram 1:15 SINE LEAD: as the name suggests.

  Ram 1:16 TRIANGLE LEAD: ditto.

  Ram 1:17 SQUARE LEAD: ditto.

  Ram 1:18 SYNC LEAD: ditto.

Ram 1:19 MOD WHEEL SAW: modwheel creates a powerful flange sweep.

Ram 1:20 E.Q. ORCHESTRA: an unusual timbre using flanger & harmonic-
  chorus.

Ram 1:21 SYNTH SAMPLE: dance cliche.

  Ram 1:22 ORGAN-TONG: ditto.

Ram 1:23 SHORT "N" SHARP: ditto.

  Ram 1:24 ORCH. SAMPLE: ditto.

Ram 1:25 SYN-CLAV: as the name suggests.

Ram 1:26 VELOCITY WAVE 1: nice analog waves, great with arpeggio's.

Ram 1:27 VELOCITY WAVE 2: ditto.

Ram 1:28 VELOCITY WAVE 3: ditto.

Ram 1:29 GATED RHYTHM 1: waveseq for held chords.

Ram 1:30 GATED RHYTHM 2: ditto.

Ram 1:31 GATED RHYTHM 3: ditto.

Ram 1:32 GATED RHYTHM 4: ditto.

Ram 1:33 GATED RHYTHM 5: ditto.

Ram 1:34 GATED RHYTHM 6: ditto.

Ram 1:35 GATED RHYTHM 7: ditto.

Ram 1:36 DIRTY DELAY: an experiment using note delay.

Ram 1:37 8 WAY DELAY: I must admit, I love this one!

Ram 1:38 AMBIENT DELAY 1: another note delay experiment, this one's
  very cool.

Ram 1:39 AMBIENT DELAY 2: ditto.

Ram 1:40 MELLOW SAW: a very analog sounding saw lead with a rich
  combing sustain.

Ram 1:41 NUNS CHOIR: I love this one too, very playable and quite
  realistic.

Ram 1:42 SWEEPER: a resonant sweep with plenty of delay.

Ram 1:43 VINTAGE SYNTH: gated sixteenths overlay a nice swirling pad.

Ram 1:44 MELLOW RHODES: a smokey, late-night rhodes.

Ram 1:45 OCEANIC: very ambient soundtrack stuff.

Ram 1:46 2 WAY SPLIT #1: a bass and lead split.

  Ram 1:47 2 WAY SPLIT #2: ditto.

Ram 1:48 2 WAY SPLIT #3: the lead half of this split contains a vowel-
  like formant effect.

  Ram 1:49 2 WAY SPLIT #4: as 46 and 47.
